We spent 4 wonderful nights in the Medici Hotel in Rome. Excellent location close to lovely restaurants. Comfortable, quiet room. Lovely, helpful, kind staff. Delicious breakfasts. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much

Surprised at poor reviews. Great hotel, helpful staff and fantastic location for exploring Rome. Rooms are compact, but very clean and have everything needed. Buffet style breakfast is perfectly acceptable and suited us fine. Staff were all lovely. Arranged a taxi back to the airport for us and gave us plenty of help on how to get to the sites. Surrounded by restaurants and bars. Umbrella stollen from the room

Worse experience of my life. I brought with me my umbrella to Rome because I saw that the weather it will be rainy. and left it outside my suitcase just up the refrigerator. When it starts to rain I come back to the hotel and I didn’t found it. The porter went on my room and brought me my husband’s umbrella and I said it was not that one. Then doing the check out I asked again about my umbrella that was stollen from my room, and they just gave me a card with their email saying that I could send an email to be refunded. I exchanged some emails and they are trying to get excuses and not solving the problem. Also the keys always stay in the hotel, what is not safe. The housekeeper service is not good neither safe. So please take care! The location isn't bad, nice coffee shops and restaurants on the street, the hotel itself is like Faulty Towers , the mattress was like a rock and the bathroom is horrendous, it's tiny I've never seen anything like it before and it's moldy, like the previous reviews said the hairdryer is laughable it only works for a few seconds.I wouldn't recommend this hotel unfortunately and just looking at the replies to reviews on this and booking.com that alone would put anyone off booking with them. flavio f, Altro at Hotel Medici, responded to this review I'm sorry, but the facts prove something completely different than what you wrote: we are always fully booked, which means that ridiculous and false reviews like yours are a small part of the totality of opinions that our guests (who have actually been here) leave after their stay in our charming and unique hotel in which the owners continually invest energy and money.

Stayed here for 3 nights with friends. More than happy with our stay. Friendly reception staff. Room nice & clean. good shower which you don't always get abroad. Nice white towels. Netflix on the tv in room.
