Great little hotel

Stayed 5 nights in September 2026. This hotel is in a really old building...high ceilings full of character...my 5 stars is based on what we paid, you may think the rooms are dated but clean with comfy beds and huge bathroom, you need to ring reception to turn air con on or off but its not an issue. Staff are lovely, very helpful with rooms made up and fresh towels every day . There's a continental breakfast with delicious filled croissants that's perfectly adequate, nothing fancy but just what you need and good quality. Right near the termini station so you can get a bus or train direct from airport and its a 5 min walk, from termini you can get metro or bus to the main sights or if you enjoy a walk its about 30 mins from Coliseum Pantheon, Trevi fountain...Rome is amazing!!

I was a little worried about the location but never had a problem. Transport was practically on our doorstep. Although the hotel is quite old we were comfortable and we can ot fault the hospitality we received.

Initially I was a little concerned that we were so close to the train station...that it would be noisy and unsafe at night....however, we never felt unsafe and our sons visited late bars and got back without any issues. There were a couple of power cuts but these did not have a negative impact on our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. Perfect location for trains and metro making it super easy to navigate your way around the city. There are some lovely restaurants close to the hotel with friendly staff and customers where we enjoyed the evening chatting with other diners.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly located near the train station so very convenient for hopping on the train and metro to get around Rome. There were a couple of power cuts but this didn't affect our stay. I was a little concerned before staying there as I was worried the neighbourhood may be unsafe being located so close to the station but we didn't see anything negative. Our sons ventured out to late bars and were absolutely fine.Some lovely restaurants close by with great food and friendly staff and customers

Perfect base to explore Rome

First of all, this hotel is very old and dated. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you.The room was adequate for the three nights we stayed, but the mattress was very hard. On the surface, the hotel appeared clean, with fresh towels and sheets, but a closer look showed that it could benefit from a deep clean.The plug sockets beside the beds did not work, so we pulled the fridge out to look for another outlet. There was at least a year's worth of dust on top of it, which suggests that area had not been cleaned for a very long time.However, this is a budget hotel and it does have a lot of positives. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the station, with convenient links to all parts of the city by train, metro, and bus.The staff were all lovely and friendly, and the continental breakfast was adequate to set us up for the day.All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for an affordable base from which to explore this beautiful city. While it may not offer luxury accommodations, its excellent location, friendly staff, and good transport links make it a practical choice for a city break.
