Pro: Clean, decent sized rooms with expected facilities. Good breakfastCon: Tiny common area, varied levels of staff service, glacial check-in. Long way out of town and a good walk to metro 1 side on busy sidestreet active to midnight and beyond.So-So; Restos, bars and facilities but limited.

Nice hotel but not worthy of 4 stars. We stayed 2 nights at the beginning and end of a cruise. The first night the room was quaint and the view over a garden was beautiful. The next time we stayed the room was again quaint and the view was awful, looking into rundown apartments and rubbish bins. I could have almost touched the grotty apartments terrace and could definitely smell the rubbish! I won't be back.

Our experience at the hotel was absolutely not good. The room was tiny, and the furniture was old and broken. The toilet had stains on the seat. The worst part was the food — we booked a room with breakfast, and every day there were only scrambled eggs, cheese, and some salami. No fresh vegetables. The only good things were the croissants and the coffee.One day, we went for breakfast quite late, and there was no one else in the restaurant. While we were sitting and eating, a man came over to us, quite unfriendly, and told us it wasn’t okay to sit at a table with four chairs because we were only two people. Still chewing, we told him the place was empty and we didn’t expect 20 families to suddenly show up 20 minutes before closing…Also, be careful — even if they write “all fees and taxes included,” you’ll be surprised with an extra €7.50 per night for the city tax.I can’t believe this place has four stars. There’s no pool or even a lobby bar. The location is okay, but not really that close to the center.

Have to commend breakfast server Ruel. So friendly and efficient. I would return to hotel because of Ruel. Staff very helpful generally and friendly.Lift at hotel needs proper servicing. On two occasions door on ground floor prevented exit.

Good accommodation with unpleasant odor

Nice accommodation, however there was a sewer smell the entire 3 days of our stay. Breakfast was great and Ruel made us feel welcome each morning. The beds are hard which bothered my friends. It is a bit far (1-2 miles) from major attractions.
