    Great Location for the Tram

    Hotel clean and staff very helpful. Anatolia, Marcus and Andreas special mention. We had an excellent stay. Nice room, dissapointed there were no tea making facilities in the room. Only a few restaurants in the vicinity, however, a typical Milanese bar del Sorisso is around the corner. Caffefour Supermarket a short walk from the Hotel.     Disappointed by the Night Staff – A Stressful End to an Otherwise Decent Stay

    I stayed at this hotel for five nights and things went smoothly—until the last day, which completely changed my impression.I had an early morning flight and confirmed with the day staff the evening before that someone would be available to check me out at 4:30 AM. They assured me the night staff would be present. However, when I came down at 4:25 AM, the reception was completely unattended. I rang the bell multiple times, waited, rang again—nothing. After about ten minutes of this, I was getting extremely anxious as I had a scheduled airport bus to catch.To make matters worse, the main entrance was locked from the inside. I was effectively trapped inside the hotel lobby, unable to check out or leave. I had no idea what to do. Finally, after 20 min around 4:45 AM, the night staff casually strolled in, saying he had left the property to get something.This is absolutely unacceptable. If the only person responsible for the hotel overnight is going to leave, someone else needs to be on duty. Because of this, I missed my bus and had to spend extra on a taxi to the airport. It turned what could’ve been a positive stay into a frustrating and stressful ending. I would not stay here again, especially if you have any early morning travel plans.     Not worth 4 stars but the price is below what you would pay for a 4 stars hotel so good value for money.     Staff very friendly but doesn’t feel four stars

    Part of a secret escape holiday so not chosen by us. Best thing about the hotel are the front desk staff, very knowledgeable and helpful; especially Marco.The room was facing a side street so quiet. Juliette balcony opened to revel lots of cigarette butts on the ground. Bed was large and comfortable. Water in the fridge.Room was bland . Paper cups only and no coffee/ tea making facilities. Requested glass glasses which were provided and did eventually get a kettle with a few sachets of decaf, sugar and tea, no milk. Shower was over the bath.Good magnifying mirror. Was too far from the centre for our liking. Number 14 tram from outside is about 14 stops from Duomo . They ran regularly.Breakfast was buffet and had all the usual continental fare. Less well stocked if one was later.They kept our luggage safe when we checked out. Didn’t eat in the restaurant.I don’t feel that it is a four star hotel.
