Do not eat here your be very disappointed

The reception staff are lovely, and the hotel itself is clean, modern, and up to date — no complaints there. However, the dining experience was extremely disappointing.The food was basic, overpriced, and had no flavour whatsoever: • 12 euros for pasta with plain tomato sauce — bland and uninspiring. • The lasagne was very dry, looked like it had been cooked days ago, and then reheated. • The steak was like a one-minute steak — thin, tasteless, and definitely not worth €18. • There’s nothing Italian about the food at all.Bread was stale can get better at Lidl also down the road. To make matters worse, the drinks tasted like paint stripper — definitely not enjoyable.I’d recommend the hotel for accommodation only but strongly suggest eating and drinking elsewhere.

The best welcome at a lovely hotel by Lake Garda

I stayed at the Belvedere recently on route to the Dolomites. We arrived late and as soon as we arrived the welcome we received from Davide was amazing, shortly after Badiano helped us with parking and Guiseppe checked us out the next day with a big smile!Cannot fault the facilities, breakfast and the pool were fantastic, every member of staff was friendly and polite, what a way to start our holiday in Italy, been travelling many years but this was one of the nicest welcomes I’ve ever had, we will definitely return for a longer stay at The Belvedere.

Hotel was lovely positioned, views lovely, but 1 staff very bad. Food was very bad, could not eat it , and lots of other people felt the same. Waitress told us , English don't follow rules, because I wanted to sit on balcony in the sunshine to eat my breakfast, she told me no , but I did and then she threw a tantrum and threw napkins and cutlery on table. It's a shame as it could be a nice hotel. Rooms were good.

Average hotel. Beds were okay but pillows very thin specially for a side sleeper. View off balcony was great. Spent one whole day just resting and enjoying the view. Walk to/from lake not difficult. Only major downside is that without a car you really are limited to places to eat.

Great view but not really a good hotel

Don't expect too much as it's just a standard hotel. I got there after the check in time, I received my key and when I got to the room, it wasn't done. So I waited for about 40 minutes for it. When I finally could use the room I realized the roller flush didn't work so I had to change room and waisted kind of 2 hours in total. The room has a very nice view on the lake Garda but it's just standard, not all cleaned, there was even a glass used by the previous guest in the kitchen not washed, air conditioning doesn't refresh much and I couldn't change the temperature. The bed is fine but pillows are very thin and uncomfortable. The pool at non gets a lot of shadows because of a big tree which is annoying. Breakfast is fine and the restaurant is ok. Not sure I'll come back there again
