Poor management by the golf team

We are 2 couples travelling by car 1200km from the UK to play the golf courses around Lake Garda.There are 3 nines a RED WHITE & YELLOW. On arrival at the course we were allocated YELLOW & WHITE. We were the only people on the YELLOW course whilst all other players were started on the RED or WHITE course. Well we know why!!!!!! Poor condition - one hole scared by a mower that had taken a huge 8cm by 15cm chunk off the green. Another dinner plate brown patches X 6 on the green. Additionally you are surrounded by pylons some of which cris cross the fairway. We were not happy. My fluent speaking Italian husband returned from the Pro Shop after nine having expressed our disappointment to be offered 4 complimentary bottles of water!!!!!!!The WHITE course was an improvement but still scruffy around the edges. We could see that the RED course was very in markedly better condition than the YELLOW. Disappointed to-be treated differently to all other players course on the

We’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years. On arrival we noticed much more checking at the gatehouse than in previous years, wanting to know who we were and our stay etc. we thought nothing of it. We had our car broken into causing several hundred pounds of damage. Was parked in hotel car park. Was later told by two staff that they have this happen regularly as thieves have multiple access points and smash and grab and disappear. The receptionist was actually helpful in arranging a body shop to help tape up the windows, but when asked for police he just said we’d need to go to Desenzano! In what? My car with no windows? No contact from manager, no asking us we are ok, just nothing. Almost like they’re used to. And days later not a single communication from the hotel to even ask how we were doing given we were having to drive back to the Uk. Really bad and there’s clearly a security issue here. Do not think we could ever go back here. Btw - clubhouse now really expensive and the service has gone quite significantly downhill and one of the guys at the golf course needs some education on basic manners. Sorry, poor.

Very helpful and professional staff (all) at reception - makes a big difference. Special thanks to Lorenzo (bar) for looking after me.Indoor pool and steam and sauna certainly adds to just an outdoor pool.As the Hotel is remote, Reception tried to order a local Taxi but never got a reply (the transfer courier was quite expensive). But the Hotel does rents bicycles and E-Bikes (day rates 35/90es).

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was exceptional — everything was spotless, which made for a very comfortable and relaxing experience. The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options, perfect for starting the day.The hotel's location is another big plus; it's just a short drive to the beautiful city of Sirmione and Lake Garda making it easy to explore all the sights and attractions. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable from start to finish.
