This hotel is located close to the old market, San Lorenzo, in the heart of central Florence, just a short walk from the cathedral and the main museums as well as San Maria Novella main train station. A lovely boutique hotel

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Botticelli and would stay here again. We had the ground floor room which was spacious. If sensitive to a bit of noice may want a different room. There is some street noice more on weekends as you are in the heart of things. It didn’t bother us too much. Also the staff getting breakfast come in early and you are near that so will hear voices. For us not enough to deter us from staying there again and requesting that room. Very clean and great management and employees. Mohammad had great local suggestions for dinners. Great location to walk everywhere. Breakfast had a nice selection and well attended too. Carpet is old and stained. Stinks like febreeze. Furniture is in need of repair and a good cleaning. Shower sprays everywhere and bathroom door is all moldy as a result. Great location the hotel just needs some updating and to get rid of the carpet.

Great location near Santa Maria Novella train station and steps from the central market. Room 103 is a superior double room facing the market and noise may be an issue for some. Bathroom is spacious but bathtub has high sides which may be a problem for physically challenged. Very good restaurants are within walking distance. Continental breakfast (eggs, meat, cheese, fruit, pastry, all the usual) is very good. Staff are professional, friendly, and courteous. Taxi app didn’t work and Uber is expensive. Front desk can arrange for taxi. Highly recommend this hotel. This hotel was a short walk from the train station and many local attractions. We had never been to Florence before, and Hotel Botticelli has shown us how easy it is to get around. Lovely boutique hotel

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of the city; a short walk to the Duomo and other sites.All the staff were extremely polite and helpful at all times. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were good and plentiful. The only reason for not giving the hotel 5/5 is because the street outside was cobbled and market traders started setting up early and there was quite a lot of noise. I’d suggest ear plugs which were very effective.
