Great first landing spot

My mate and I stayed here the first night we arrived to Iceland. The location was a short walk to several grocery stores and slightly longer to the city center of Reykjavik. It was easy to find free street parking, but a lot of the parking around the building must be paid every 3 hours. There is a ramp outside for HC access and an elevator. You will need a cell phone with internet to access the room, and there is a service help line if you get confused as we did, and the representative spoke English. but there is free WiFi available. The room was clean with a small fridge for our drinks and snacks. Great shower pressure and temperature. Comfortable beds. Great value for the cost.

Self-service hotel 15 min walk from the city center. Supermarket nearby. Slightly worn, clean, but quite small room without noise. Comfortable bed.

The worst ever WiFi for a hotel in a capital city and of course no staff to ask or complain to.Also, if you happen to arrive before 3pm, your codes for the entry system doesn’t work so you have to stand outside.All windows really dirty, I know there’s a building site opposite right now, so just clean your windows more often = really bad first impression!

Convenient city accommodation with an easy self check-in process. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was new and modern.Cons:The room was cold throughout the entire stay, and parking options were limited.

I first was bit sceptical to book this hotel judging by the economical rates they offered compared to conventional Reykjavik city hotels. Hence after the stay, it went well beyond my expectations and I am very happy. The self check-in was easiest ever, nice comfortable room, very neat and clean toilet, equipped with a tv, fridge and coffee maker. I must mention the staff were very responsive and fast. The hotel is located in a quiet location just 10 mins walk from center and 5 mins from the marine drive. If you are looking for the best hotel with decent rates, then this is the one to stay at Reykjavik. I personally rate and recommend this place very highly!
