Location

The hotel is just 80 km from Thessaloniki, situated in a panoramic area with wonderful pine trees overlooking the sea. It is 200 metres from the centre of the village and 350 metres from the sea. Petralona is around 40 minutes by car, and Macedonia International Airport is approximately 90 km away.

    Writing this as I make my way to the airport. Had a lovely week at Alkion, I could have stayed much longer. The hotel grounds were amazing, and kept tidy. The views from the hotel rooms were incredible. The staff were always helpful. The kids loved the pool and the beach. There is a minibus from hotel to beach 3 times a day, it is walkable but it's quite a steep hill to walk back. Town, where shops etc are is a 5 min walk away. The included breakfast had a good selection. Location was great, would love to go back.

    We came here last May and were delighted to see that everything was just as good this May. The accommodation was very good, the food was excellent and the staff were as helpful as before. The hotel is very well situated, halfway between the town and the beach, and my wife and I spent much of our time exploring the town and its environs.

    Fabulous views to the sea with very well maintained gardens. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good choice at breakfast although ask to be heated up as usually cold. Rooms very large , ask for first floor at rear with best views. Be aware I would not class this as a hotel as the complex is apartments and does not have hotel facilities. Beds are very low with uncomfortable mattresses. Our TV did not work properly, kettle was faulty and no microwave in the room. Disappointed with the room but not the views. Kriopigi has nothing going for it apart from half a dozen expensive tavernas. The beach is dreadful with discarded rubbish and dangerous objects scattered about. Don't know how the Greek government can charge 10euros per day tourist tax as it's not being spent locally. Afytos is worth a trip and good local bus service. Overall would not return to this area.

    Absolutely a must hotel, beautiful views, excellent management, excellent breakfast, excellent rooms, excellent all round area.we stayed there for 7 nights 2nd may 25 till 9th may 25.Alex the owner is a wonderful person always there for you.love the cats located within the hotel.I would highly recommend this hotel as a Must stay.will definitely come back one day.thank you guys for everything, Even the house cleaners and cooks.Thank you very muchMr bulbinder Kumar UKRooms: 10/10 | Service: 10/10 | Location: 10/10

    I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit kriopigi the beautiful views and beautiful sunsets are just that beautiful!We stayed for 10 nights and this was my second time here this year , I went with my daughter and a friend back in June for a week returned with my Fiancé , in sept for the 10 days...We had a wonderful time the staff Alex, Sami, and all the staff at breakfast, and at the pool bar were lovely and very helpful polite and friendly..The rooms were spotless clean towels everyday.. we were in room 101 and that is ground floor with a beautiful patio with very comfy patio set, lovely to sit out at night with a glass of yr favourite and read or listen to some music..This hotel is very relaxing quite and the staff don't pester you at all..The beach is down a rather steep hill but there is the Albion bus that takes you down and back up and set times.. definitely well worth the visit to the beach it is stunning ..I just want to finish off with saying thank you to Alex, Sami, and all the staff we will be back in July and for 14 days this time haha can't wait 😃😃
