After two follow-up emails this week regarding the hotel address, I am still waiting for the taxi and city tax receipts for my stay from May 16 to 17. No one is responding, and it is urgent. Additionally, I was charged 20 euros for the taxi, even though the meter showed 9 euros for the airport ride Marketing Karatarakis SA, Innkeeper at Olive Green Hotel, responded to this review Dear 191morganeg thank you for staying at the Olive Green Hotel. We are happy we provided a stay that met your expectations. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused by not reaching us. All our attempts to send the receipts were unsuccessful, as we did not have your correct contact email. At the same time, we did not receive any email from your end to respond to. Presumably there was a technical issue that the ΙΤ department tried to resolve. Thank you for pointing it out to us. Regarding the cost of your transfer, the amounts for transfers to the airport or port are fixed. They are not related to the kilometer distance and do not concern exclusively our hotel.Dear 191morganeg we will be looking forward welcoming you back for a unique hospitality experience.

Great location, pet friendly with super friendly staff

We stayed for 3 nights with our (small) dog. The room was quite spacious and very clean. The bed also very comfortable. The staff super friendly and helpful. They were also very friendly to our dog. The location is great, very close to everything in the center. Overall, great stay, we could not have asked for more.

Beautiful large room, everything was perfect, no complaints. I just stayed one night and left early in the morning before breakfast. I could have comfortably stayed for a couple of days. It was close to everything but luggage had to be transported from up the hill because the van couldn’t park in front of the hotel. Quiet room.

Disappointing Stay – Too Noisy for Comfort

Unfortunately, our stay at Olive Green was a bit disappointing. The hotel is not very quiet – we could hear loud thumping music from passing cars and people partying well into the early morning hours, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Couldn’t open the blinds as there was no privacy due to other buildings looking in. The room itself was quite small, and the bedding felt worn and synthetic, not the most comfortable. The overall vibe of the hotel felt a bit tired and cheap, and the receptionist, while polite, seemed drained and not particularly enthusiastic.We also found the nearby restaurants underwhelming – the food left us with a night of reflux, and the prices didn’t match the quality.It might suit those looking for a livelier area and no sleep, but if you’re after rest and comfort, this may not be the right fit. All our rooms have an ergonomic design with a focus on spaciousness and comfort. Larger rooms of 25m2, 27m2, and 33m2 are also available. There is also the option of rooms with a balcony - like yours - and a terrace with sun loungers. As far as it concerns the city centre restaurants, since they have high traffic and repeated guests, they have good quality drinks and food. The Olive Green Hotel is perfectly located - easy walk to many excellent restaurants and sites. Nikolas - the afternoon/evening desk clerk was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered authentic Greek breakfast fare and the rooms were very nice,
