Great location - we'll be back!

Ideal location for the Hamburg main railway station (which is why we chose it). It's also just minutes away for several places to eat and a pleasant wlak to the city centre.The Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, allowing us to drop off our bags several hours before official check-in, and giving us 24-hour Hamburg travel cards which were very much appreciated.The room we had was on the 6th floor; it was very clean and comfortable and not noisy even though we left the window open all night.The breakfast was excellent and much appreciated - a wide selection was on offer and constantly being replenished.We'll be back! I highly recommend IntercityHotel Hamburg for its comfortable and very clean rooms. Location was perfect. You can walk by foot and see all the attractions around The receptionist Emiah Aydin was extremely helpful and welcoming. We will come back soon.

Very disappointing Customer service

Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel’s customer service has been very disappointing. I have sent emails and received no response at all. Additionally, when trying to contact them by phone, I am kept on hold for long periods of time, and no clear or prompt solution is provided to the issues raised. This lack of attention and professionalism is extremely frustrating.

WORST FRONT MAN EVER

THE WORST FRONT DESKMAN EVER and I don’t have his name because he never told me his name. Talk corpulent guy. My husband ask if we could leave luggage and he answered that there was no space. As we saw he took in 5 pieces, I asked again and he starts answering very rude and then SLAMMED THE DOOR IN MY FACE. incredible. Never seen this before. Who hired that guy to be a front desk man?

Beware of Hotel booking errors...it may cost you a lot!

I stayed at this hotel and found it to be convenient and well appointed for the rate one pays. However in my recent experience (May 2024) in the reservation process, an error was noted in the dates of the booking (OCT 2024 instead of Nov 2024). They would not in any circumstances, according to management, accommodate and correct the error of the booking and thus keeping the full amount on the deposit (more than 700$). Thus I highly recommend that one must think twice before they book with this institution/Hotel.
