Nothing but Sleepless nights

I stayed in this hotel with my family for two nights ( from Friday to Sunday). Both nights were totally sleepless. Literally. On Friday night, the noise was due to never ending door slamming, noise from corridors/ rooms above and lifts making constant strange noise (until midnight and as of 4:30 am). On Saturday night, the hotel had a DJ on its rooftop terrace ( 8th floor). The music was so loud that it was tragicomedic. The whole hotel was simply taken hostage by a DJ performance well into midnight. It was like trying to sleep in a nightclub. The reception’s line was ‘a DJ was hired until 1 am and this is how it is going to continue’. In the end, i am not even blaming reception - it is clearly the line of the management. Talking about other aspects, the rooms were actually nicely decorated and comfortable. Location was rather average (20-30 mins on foot to city center), staff was OK but sort of too cool to be customer-oriented (but they still checked you in and out so all could be considered as fine). To conclude, if you want a comfortable night’s sleep, this hotel is not even pretending to deliver it, especially during weekends. And good luck to you if you have to catch an early morning flight. For me, it was my 7th trip to Georgia with numerous hotel stays. Unfortunately, this stay was definitely the most uncomfortable and even though this hotel has so much potential, it is failing to deliver the very basic - a very simple night’s sleep.

Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms, good location, supermarket and bakeries nearby, Zoe, the lovely receptionist, welcomed us nicely and helped with everything possible from upgrading the room to a birthday cake sent to the room. The lovely employee in charge of the housekeeping staff made sure we were comfortable, took an interest and quickly helped with the service. The rest of the hotel staff are lovely and pleasant, excellent service, allowed us to check out two hours later at no cost, free spa, good dining room. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves very much, we would be happy to return

Could be rated as a 3 star hotel, small rooms , modest breakfast , and a very gloomy street. The room service cleaned our room only once in our three night stay , we informed the receptionist and no action was taken............,.............
