The service is absolutely terrible. The drains are clogged in every room, the elevators don't work, and they talk over the loudspeaker all morning. The spa costs 70 euros for two, and that doesn't even include a towel. There's no space in the jacuzzi or sauna. Breakfast is jam-packed, and the rooms are tiny, like cabins. Parking is very expensive, about 4 euros an hour. The only plus is the agronomic design. Overall, a 1 out of 10.

A super compact hotel, just perfect for a weeks stay to visit family living nearby. I stayed in a Smart room which was perfect for one person, but maybe a little too cramped for two of you. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Cleverly designed room and hotel, nice and quiet and well connected by public transport to the city centre. Beautiful hotel. The steaming sauna was too heated and the heat was coming behind the feet: if there is small children could easily burn themselves. I would appreciate if there were handrails going to jacuzzi. Really good steak downstairs restaurant! Excellent place to stay, close to Central Park

The whole experience was excellent.The hotel is clean and welcoming with lots of natural light; breakfast was good, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.One of the reception/information staff (Sini) wrote multiple recommendations for places to visit on a map, included the numbers of the buses I would need to take and explained the type of ticket I would need and where to buy it.I was able to use the common workspace to not only work on my laptop, but also to spread out samples and brief a colleague on upcoming products.Add to this the fact that Central Park is a couple of minutes from the door (perfect for a morning run), and it amounts to the ideal place to stay.I look forward to my next trip to Helsinki and to the VALO hotel Viivi Tupamäki, Guest Services / Front Office at Valo Hotel & Work, responded to this review Dear F6693ENbarryr, Thank you so much for your wonderful review!We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and made good use of both our workspaces and the nearby Central Park. Great hotel for reasonable price

Good location close to public transport and a peaceful environment. Cosy, clean and friendly hotel. Great staff - especially Sirena, who deserves a raise for her amazing customer service skills. Our room was on the sunny side of the hotel and it was a bit too hot in the summer, despite the AC and closed curtains.
