  Just been to royalton splash for the second time really enjoyed our 2 weeks holiday this time we upgraded to diamond, the diamond club was definitely worth the extra money spent we had access to all restaurants at both hotels our butler naz organised all the restaurants for us for every night.all the restaurant were brilliant food was amazing really enjoyed the zen and steak house restaurants,naz our butler was so dedicated to his job he was brilliant always keeping incontact with us via WhatsApp and came to see us every day to check that everything was OK or if we needed anything .the only negative if our holiday was the music around the splash pool the vibe team seemed to cater more for the Spanish speaking visitors than the English and seem to put them first we were not only us to complain about this there was a tui rep on holiday here and she also complained about this, overall brilliant holiday would come back

  The resort is beautiful. Rooms were great too. The beach is nice especially the food and bar service which is included with club level packages. Drinks sucked fake liquor. I don't drink much only when I vacation. Never felt a buzz...The food was horrific at the specialty restaurants. I would not feed my dog that crap. The quality of food was so disgusting. Except Habatchi and The only other saving grace was the buffet. I would not recommend going here. Just for food and drink quality alone. TIP: Stop at duty free at airport bring ur own liquor. I promise u thank me later. They are not serving real liquor. I promise you.   Mould,cockroaches,birds and pure ignorance

  Edit- so Cesar Vergas ,Gm replied to me and told me to contact guest service desk or customer service via email.I tried to call 444 and speak with guest service, they refused to give me a manager and put me on hold for more than 20 min so I would hang up. I went to the reception and guess what ??- been told no manager is working that day. I filed a complaint while they were laughing . They signed it, agreeing no manager is on site( they couldn t care less,they know that paper goes straight into bin anyway ) but I managed to take a picture of it. Their smirking stopped, panic kicked in and told me that actually, there is someone available- what a circus,I went straight to my room.( see attached the picture , by mistake I wrote july instead of june) Decided to pursue the email route next . But at breakfast in the restaurant buffet :)) guess what? Two women are screaming that a bird is eating from the fruits plates. Staff could not care less and did nothing to disrupt the bird feast. While I turned back my head to my table ...I notice something moving on the furniture near me...a big cockroach! I put my hand in the air- same treatment of ignorance from the sfaff. I do it again but they can t be bothered. I do it a third time and someone finally decides to come in, and act like it s perfectly normal(see the picture with the little one as well) Again- what a circus...what indiference.... thank Goodness for the other reviews, I thought I am dreaming or exagerating.So I wrote customer service with the date, location , hour ,minute to investigate and check their cameras.Claudia Adames replies: "We are truly sorry to learn that your experience has not met your expectations" So if you want a room with mould and no sink in the bathroom, or identify as a Snow White to eat with the birds and the dancing cockroaches, and have 0 self respect as you will get ridiculized and laugh at by the management- this hotel is for you. 0 star..also type mould in the search bar and see how many times it comes backOriginal reviwe -Title: MeahID#: 1065272675Text: Still here. .. writing this review as I am trying to sleep but I am coughing cause i can t breath properly. The whole ceiling is full of mould. Been here 6 days ( paid for 2 weeks)...can t believe I say this but I can t wait to get back to UK.So I booked a room with Tui to celebrate our wedding aniversary. The hotel gave us a room with 2 separate beds . (I don t even snore that bad)When we did the check in( no welcoming pack,drinks,info) were told they have this amazing app and all info are there .Wrote in the app 2 times about the strong smell of mould and stains on the whole ceiling- we received a generic message: somebody will contact you- nada so far.Fault lies with us...we read reviews about the mould in rooms and decided to gamble.we lost! Damn those 5 stars reviews :)) They are however "renovating" some parts of the hotel area.Looks like the hotel has some potential, but you can t repaint over mould without treating and cleaning the walls first.Old style rooms with the sink outside of the toilet. So you take a number 2 and voila.... you have to open the door and go wash you hands in the main room. That door knob has more fecal bacteria than a.....(use your imaginantion). No need to worry as they are made of copper.They do have some good things:Drinks: good variety of coktails and spirits, with multiple bar locationsOutside toilets: really clean and looked afterThe frigge in the room (minibar) is generous and the room cleaning is done daily.2 coffee shops where you have a variety of coffee selection,fresh fruits, ice cream,cookies and 1 hamburgher/hotdog vanNot so good things : food, do read some reviews ,I do agree with them, now . It is more a 2- 3 stars buffet.(really terrible execution -short cooking staff maybe ???)Beach: lot of sea weed, they do clean it daily but they don t remove it from the beach . You can t even get into the water in some parts without stepping on it- be aware of mosquitos and insects bites.Can t recommend this royalton brand to be honest, don t feel like you get value for money, but I do.suggest you do a better investigation than we did .
