  It would have been better !!

  The hotel location is good.   Very Disappointing Service Experience as a Hotel Guest ⭐

  I stayed for a week at Ritz Village Hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience at the bar on May 6, 2026. There was a young woman and man working behind the bar, and from the moment I sat down, I felt completely ignored. I spent around 15 minutes trying to get their attention before anyone finally acknowledged me.When I was eventually helped, I politely asked if there were any snacks available. I was told in a rude tone that only pizza could be ordered. When I then kindly asked if it was possible to get some peanuts instead, the male employee responded very unfriendly and simply said the kitchen was closed.What disappointed me even more was how the hotel handled my complaint afterward. As a hotel guest staying for an entire week, I expected at least some concern or follow-up, but nobody checked back with me or tried to make the situation right. It gave me the impression that guest experience is simply not a priority here.Curaçao has many wonderful hotels with friendly and welcoming service. Based on my experience, I would recommend choosing another place to stay.   Prachtig appartement op goede locatie, maar met duidelijke verbeterpunten!

  Het penthouse appartement van The Ritz voldeed grotendeels aan onze verwachtingen. Het appartement is mooi, ruim en comfortabel ingericht en beschikt over goede parkeergelegenheid. De locatie is prettig en goed bereikbaar, wat ons verblijf extra aangenaam maakte.Helaas was de wasmachine defect, waardoor wij tussendoor geen was konden doen, terwijl dit wel de bedoeling was bij ons verblijf. Dat was jammer en onhandig, zeker bij een langer verblijf.Negatieve punten en aandachtspunten:* De ontbijtgelegenheid is duidelijk te klein voor het aantal gasten. Er zijn te weinig tafels en er ontstaan lange rijen bij het aanmelden, de koffiemachine en het bakken van eieren.* Van de 10 dagen dat wij er verbleven, was de thee maar liefst 6 dagen op. Er werd aangegeven dat dit in bestelling stond, maar uiteindelijk hebben wij zelf thee moeten kopen. Dit had Corendon ook eenvoudig kunnen oplossen.* Met grote regelmaat was er geen bestek of waren er geen drinkbekers beschikbaar. Wanneer je dit aangaf, werd het wel geregeld, maar dit duurde vaak lang, soms wel 10 minuten.* Het personeel werkt onvoldoende samen; iedereen lijkt zijn eigen taken te doen zonder onderlinge afstemming, waardoor men regelmatig achter de feiten aanloopt.* Daarnaast mag het personeel over het algemeen vriendelijker en gastvrijer zijn.Al met al een fijn verblijf wat betreft het appartement zelf, maar er zijn duidelijke verbeterpunten op het gebied van organisatie, voorzieningen en service.   Good spot but need a bit of work

  We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel from 8-22Jan 2026. We stayed in the new part into a Deluxe apartment and really found out it’s has the best kitchenette we had so far! The sofa and chair need to be replace very uncomfortable.Thumbs up to Adeline that knows how to clean an apartment with kitchenette. She went above and beyond and very fast while others like to waiste their time on their cell phone so cutting corners is all they do for cleaning! Please send my regards to Adeline she’s a great person to have around.The pool was great when the closest beach is Punda but we did not bother to spend a day there . We understand guests can be very messy expressly around the sand all around the pool , raking that sand once in a while would not hurt either even though we saw someone with a grabbing stick cleaning around the pool restaurant but that’s it’s not enough! The security ,lobby guys and pool bartenders are very helpful personnel to get informations about Curaçao surroundings and ease your stay.
