The area around this hotel is sketchy. The rooms were adequate. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant was nice.

Lovely experience and art!

I cannot say enough good things about my stay. I had great vegetarian food at the downstairs restaurant, swam in the lovely pool, enjoyed the lush courtyard, had excellent service at the included brunch (so fresh and delicious!) and even purchased a beautiful original painting from an amazing local artist from right off the wall. Huge shout out to Xenia, who made sure my art got to me perfectly packaged and safe. I know she had to jump through hoops to get it to me, and she went above and beyond and was so kind and helpful. Oh! And there is a little convenience store in the lobby. And the location is amazing and walkable to lots of amazing sights and shopping. Pura Vida!

Spacious and Nice, but Some Detail Work Needed

This hotel is much larger than it may appear at first glance, which is both a positive and a negative. Our room was at the far side of the hotel from the front desk, which led to a long walk down several corridors to get to and from the room. On the other hand, it feels spacious and the rooms are quite large.The staff were friendly and helpful, though not as attentive and detail oriented as I might have liked. Getting service at the lobby bar required us to call the server over once or twice. We stayed here one night at the beginning of our tour and one night at the end of our tour. On the second night, there was no soap in the bathroom. Additionally the glass desk top was chipped and cracked in one corner.Location wise, it is slightly outside of the downtown core, which makes it quieter, but walking to many local attractions and destinations is 20 minutes or less.

The common areas are nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was decent. The rooms are in need of a refresh with fixtures literally falling off the walls. They did not have an outlet next to the bed

Your staff was outstanding and made my first trip to Central America worry-free. I was checked in by Jose and every night upon my return, he remembered me and talked about my adventures. He made me feel welcome and assisted me with every issue. The bartender, Oldemar was another shining star. He made me wish I had more time to spend there.The breakfast was outstanding as was the meal at the bar. I felt safe and welcomed. I would gladly return again.
