  Total non-seriousness, we do not recommend. At this hotel you pay for the reservation/accommodation and when you arrive they tell you that they don't have any room available - even though I had proof of confirmation from the hotel for receiving the money. On February 13, 2024, I had a reservation and paid accommodation. Arriving at the hotel, after 14 hours of flying, I was surprised to find no one at the reception. I called a whatsApp number displayed there. After multiple calls, we were answered and informed that they had no place available, even though the accommodation had been paid for a month before. Our travel agency complained about their attitude and asked them to return the amount of accommodation and compensation. Miserable attitude.......

  Do not stay here! Not what you think!

  This is not what it appears!! You are staying out of town all right but not in a safe area. There are two hotels with the same name. When you search online you get pictures of the other hotel which is nicer. They are capitalizing on the other hotel with the same name marketing and know it. As soon as I pulled up I knew I was in the wrong place. To make matters worse, there was no hot water for a shower. If you stay here, don't pay more than $40/night!

  First of all, the people who run this place are great. They provided us with lots of information (in English), gave us tips and booked tours for us. They were very pro-active in making our stay perfect for us. It’s a family owned place and they started running the hotel in the beginning of 2019, but are already doing a great job. The accomodation and facilities were good and the location is nice, not in the middle of the city center but very close.

  The family that runs this place is very nice, kind and extremely informative about the area and can help you with any tours/arrangements you may need. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was very cozy, almost like staying with a family (even though you have your own room/bathroom). It's outside of the main town area, but it's a short drive/ride to where the restaurants and shops are and I'm sure you can even walk it. A very good option if you're looking for a place to stay in La Fortuna!

  Perfect place to stay in la Fortuna

  The place is just outside of town so it is very quiet. But it’s close enough to go in town by foot. It is very clean and the staff is very helpful.If you need anything, just ask David, I’m pretty sure he knows the area by heart. He’ll gladly help you organize your activities.You won’t regret your stay :)
