  A great hotel close to the Schonbrumm palace and in front of the Lsngenfeldgasse subway station.

  This is a nice hotel that is located in walking distance to the Schonbrumm palace and have clean comfortable room and is well located with the U4 green/ U6 brown Lsngenfeldgasse subway station right in front of the hotel .Hot/cold breakfast is average . Great if it have supplied a variety of pastries (Europe is well known for its pastries) as many other 4 star hotels provide in breakfast. But here we only get a plain croissant to chose from.   This is my 2nd time staying at Leonardo Schonbrunn, the first in December with my partner, and 2nd with my daughter and friend in April, so a double review. The hotel isn't in the city centre but very easily accessed from the Metro directly opposite. Its also only 2 short stops on the metro to Schonbrunn Palace where they have lovely Christmas and Easter markets. The hotel entrance is lovely with a nice, modern reception with bar and sectioned seating areas. It also has a little shop area for essentials but there's also a bigger Spar right next door. They have complimentary fruit and water near reception too which is a nice touch for guestsAt Christmas we had a superior double room which was really nice. On my return we had a suite for 3 adults. The extra bed was in the bedroom area which left the living room area free which was a bonus (in other hotels the sofa is sometimes turned into the 2nd bed) Im not sure if it was because it was bigger but the suite seemed a bit soulless and the furniture more basic/tired. Perhaps the superior double had been refurbished but it seemed cosier. The bathroom was tiny which was ok for 2 people but not for 3, and the shower wasnt great in the suite. We had come from a Leonardon hotel in Salzburg that had a separate shower room and separate toilet which was great for 3 ladies getting ready at the same time, this one was a bit of a squishStaff at Leonardo Schonbrunn are lovely and very helpful. Every member of staff we came across were efficient with good customer service skills. I recognised a few from December, and the lady at the door at breakfast was as nice. Sincere greeting and goodbye from Reception staff Breakfast was fine with a good selection of hot/cold, sweet/savoury options. Things could be replenished quicker but room was full and staff busyBoth times, we had late flights but there is a secure/ticketed luggage room and reception staff were happy for us to use the seated area to have a drink, organise ourselves and change in the restroom before leavingI enjoyed both my stays at Leonardo Schonbrunn but preferred the Deluxe Double to the suite.   Wonderful stay

  We booked a short break to Vienna. We Had visited Vienna many years ago so it was nice to see it again. We were so lucky in our choice of hotel, from when we entered to when we left the staff were so nice and welcoming. Our room was on the 7th floor with excellent views across the city. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The reception staff were a great source of inspiration for what to see and places to go. Boris was very friendly behind the bar and all the breakfast staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay more memorable.There was plenty of choice for breakfast and everything was replenished quickly.The hotel is minutes from the underground train and has a Spar supermarket around the corner for anything you forgot to bring. We were so lucky with the weather and we had a wonderful time. A huge thank you to everyone at the Leonardo Hotel and we look forward to coming back. We have already recommended the hotel to friends.
