The Beds and the AC Unit....

The hotel and room felt.upscake and modern. The facility was clean. The staff was friendly. What brought the rating down for me was the AC unit in my room and the bed. The AC unit roared loudly every time it was running its cycle. Also the bed loudly creaked every time I moved around. Both of these made it harder to sleep than it should have been. Had it not been so late when I got there, I would have asked for a room change. However, I see other reviews that mention the same thing. Maybe I got the same room as those people. Or maybe the issue with the beds and the AC units is more widespread around this property. If the hotel could address these two things, they would have an excellent property.

From check in to check out everything was super.No restaurant on site but a variety of places 5min walk away (was given a list at reception also)The room was clean, big & quiet.Breakfast was a large choice of waffles, cereals, breads, eggs etcGreat stay all round.Used as a base to go into DC

Let me start off first by saying that I do not ususally leave a review on anything but today I had to. The front desk clerk that helped me this morning was a true professional and I had to leave him a positive review. Prekimi is his name. This gentleman not only solved my issues w another nights stay but actually listened to my concerns and addressed them with great customer service. We also engaged in casual conversation and Prekimi was not judgmental nor negative and it led to this review. I trained customer service representatives for Verizon , American Express and EZ pass for 3 years so I know what good service is suppossed to look and feel like. Bravo to you Prekemi, I hope your owners understand the jewel they have in you and compensate you appropriately. J. Jabez Smith

Stayed 1 night having arrived into Dulles - perfectly adequate for a first night, supermarket close by for some snacks, and a large, comfortable room. Free breakfast is always a bonus and was pretty good. Lots of construction taking place nearby but didn't disturb us. All in all suited us fine.

Free parking and free breakfast make a difference

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice thus far and I’ve had a generally good experience both times. The free breakfast and free parking mean you don’t have to worry about these costs. Hotel prices in the DC area are so outrageous you don’t need to worry so much about so many added costs to your bill. The first time I stayed in an executive king in August 2024 and the second time was in May 2025 in a 2 queen room. I preferred the executive king because of the wet bar and generally larger floor space. I was able to receive packages at the hotel with ease and the parking lot is large so you don’t need to worry about where you’re going to park if you come back late in the evening. What I didn’t like was that the hotel has a lot of construction going on around it and the hotel entrance is tricky to find. I also think the rooms are in need of updating. The AC in the executive king I stayed in had a terribly loud noise. I get cold very easily so I just switched off the AC during my stay. The reason for my 5 stars rating is because of the value you receive versus the price. However I have to admit that I was about to stay here for a third time but I cancelled my reservation because the price goes up quite a bit during weekdays making it more expensive than comparable hotels.
