Booked the one bedroom apartment and also used the sofa bed in the living area. Very well equipped, clean and quiet. Friendly staff, great location.

Challenges expectations of a norm but in a good way

    rating18 Jun 2026

Very modern, airy building, almost minimalist.Reception is on 9th floor (don't expect a big typical reception desk) in dining room/bar area (modify expectations but it worked perfectly). Check in was friendly and effective but lacking in info re hotel/breakfast/bar/gym/room blinds. Very quiet hotel. Our room only had about 6 rooms in the corridor so minimal foot fall-we heard nothing from inside or outside the hotel - no doors banging, no talking, no TV sounds and no traffic when we were in our room & the hotel was full. Room is adequate in size. Comfy bed. One side of the bed is against the window though so no bedside table. Plenty of plug sockets. Small bathroom with powerful shower- big enough for what needs doing but only 1 person at a time. Toiletries provided smelled lovely- didnt use shampoo/conditioner so can't comment on how they were. No amenity set such as shower cap if that is important, but the shower is an overhead and hand held type. Big soft towels. TV, hairdryer, safe, ironing board, clothes hangers all present.Bonus, as it is an aparthotel, is that there is a kitchen area. SMEG toaster and kettle, fridge, microwave & hotplate. Relevant crockery & cutlery including corkscrew.. There was a coffee machine with pods and in the fridge 2 small bottles of milk. The room is "techy". No light switches but little panels that light up when you put your hand near- 1 situated by door & 1 by the bed. The effective blackout blinds are operated from bed panel- obvious when you see it but took us a while.Situation wise we felt safe. Its approx 15min walk to AO Arena, 10mins to Arndale/Printworks so good for eating/shopping.Parking in Qpark virtually next door is expensive.Hotel discount for Qpark 15min walk away though???????. There are other carparks but sometimes convenience wins.We had continental breakfast. £13pp. It was perfect. Lovely boiling water contraption with raw eggs and advised times for cooking depending on how you wanted your boiled eggs. Limited cereals, pastries, bread, fruit. Remade topped yoghurt (which were lovely) Tea/coffee machine. Orange/apple juice. You could pay more for a individually prepared hot breakfast but it was different form the norm- toasties, breakfast bap, bagels etc, no typical English breakfast. Can't believe the value for money here & will definitely stay again. Wilde St Peters Square, Guest Services / Front Office at Wilde Aparthotels, Manchester, City Centre, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to write us a spectacular review. It's a delight to know that you find the check in and our facilities up to the standards that you have expected and we will proceed to exceed more the next time you want to stay with us. Superb, Central & Fantastic Staff

    rating13 Jun 2026

Firstly the location is great - right by a tram stop direct from the airport & also really central for the city. The facilities at Wilde itself & also in the apartment, you literally have everything you need. The little in house 24hr shop is such a cracking addition. The staff were superb, so friendly & helpful. Whether it was giving you a restaurant recommendation, helping you work out tram times or going out of thier way to locate something for you, nothing was too much trouble. I'd particularly like to mention Archie & Jess who are fantastic. I'll definitely be back & I'll absolutely use Wilde in other locations as well. Wilde St Peters Square, Guest Services / Front Office at Wilde Aparthotels, Manchester, City Centre, responded to this review Thank you for your wonderful review. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed our central location and convenient tram connections, as well as the facilities available throughout the property and in your apartment. Room designed by someone over 6'3"

    rating12 Jun 2026

Perfect location for walking or transport to everything. Great first impression, smelled and looked clean. Reception staff [and others] friendly and efficient.Didn't wait long for the lifts but round the corner there's also a 3rd lift between 9th and 20th floors. We had a Studio with city view [sleeps 3] on 19th floor with fab views. Spotlessly clean with quality bedding and products. Loved the emphasis on sustainability, including recycling and food waste bins. 2 small bottles of milk in fridge were very welcome. Maybe have an alternative coffee for those like us who don't like Nespresso.Good aircon. Touch pads for lighting and aircon simple to use. Didn't use sofabed but it was cosy for 2 to sit on. Room was really quiet. But we tried not to drag the chair on the wooden floor as we'd heard people walking around next door in heels before they went out for the evening and after they returned at 1am which woke us.Very comfortable extra wide king size bed, but as others say the bed layout makes it difficult for 2 people. One person has to climb onto the bed from the bottom. The bed was also too high to actually sit on and quite a climb up – even for my 6 foot tall husband. If I sat on the bed my feet dangled 6” above the ground and I'm 5'10”. I even had to stand on tiptoe to reach crockery on the top shelf in the kitchen. The bathroom mirror is lit from behind so doesn't give out enough light for putting on make up. The full length mirror in the bedroom was fine next to a wall light, but to get near enough to the mirror we had to move the table, chair and stool.I'd have awarded 4.5 but can only give 4 as my credit card was charged twice for our stay - on arrival then charged again at midnight after we checked out. The duplicate payment was refunded next day. Wilde St Peters Square, Guest Services / Front Office at Wilde Aparthotels, Manchester, City Centre, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed our central location, the cleanliness of the property, the city views from your studio, and the warm welcome from our team. It's especially pleasing to know that our sustainability initiatives, room amenities, and comfortable bedding contributed positively to your experience. We also appreciate your constructive feedback. We're sorry to hear that the room layout and bed height proved challenging, and that the bathroom lighting and kitchen storage were not as convenient as they could have been. Your comments regarding alternative coffee options and noise transfer between rooms have been noted and will be shared with the relevant teams for consideration. We sincerely apologise for the duplicate card charge following your departure. While we're pleased that the payment was refunded promptly the following day, we understand how concerning this must have been and regret any inconvenience caused.Thank you again for your balanced and thoughtful feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide an even better experience in the future.Best regards, Nathan

Excellent location, clean, comfortable and well equipped

    rating09 Jun 2026

Stayed here for two nights in June on business. My first impression when I walked into the lobby was that it smelled amazing! Not sure what they pump in there but a sort of lovely verbeena/lemon smell permeates. My room was on the 11th floor. Reception is on the 9th and I liked the set-up (which another reviewer thought odd). The staff work from a middle table with laptops-every person I spoke to throughout my stay was nothing but friendly and helpful. My room was great. You have a little kitchenette with a hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine… The lighting and air con is all controlled by a modern LED panel but worked well. There were blackout curtains and blinds and the bed was really comfy so had a good night’s sleep both nights. The hairdryer was great and there was also an umbrella in the room if needed. The apartments are really central with a tram stop seconds away. All in all a great stay and would definitely stay again.
