Excellent Family Hotel
Good beach Hotel
Hotel not brand new, especially the rooms need to be renovated. The umbrellas and deck chairs in the pool need to be changed. However, we had 7 wonderful days and the food was also quite good. Very nice staff. Excellent location and beach price List.
It was a mid range hotel with everything you need Located 15 mins walk from the town centre. The rooms were very simple but had everything you need. Good wifi Food was plentiful although I can imagine it would get a bit boring after a week or two The staff was extremely helpful especially when I needed medical attention. The beach is small and rocky
I would have given this 5* if it wasn't for the very dated and basic room we stayed in. The hotel is 4* through and though. I couldn't fault the food, it was excellent at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always something to eat and a variety of choices. Fresh pancakes and eggs each morning, there was also fresh cooked meat and veg at lunch and dinner. The outdoor tavern is great, too. That's a more BBQ style setup, which is great for lunch. All inclusive drinks are also good, a good choice of cocktails which you can have during the day. We never struggled to eat or drink. The entertainment was limited, but as it was coming to the end of the season, I did expect this. I would imagine in the height of summer it would be much better. The only downside to this hotel is the rooms. We stayed in a family room which was located outside the main hotel up a flight of stairs. Upon entering, I was very disappointed with how dated and basic it was, for 4* I expected more. It felt shabby and dirty (only due to how old it looked). The shower had very little pressure, and you had to hose yourself down to get a proper wash. The aircon also packed in a few days into our stay, too. I really think the hotel needs to invest in updating the rooms The hotel is in a nice location, right next to the beach, a handful of shops, bars, and restaurants close by. It is also a 20-minute walk into Kos Town. We walked this a lot. It was safe and pleasant. You can walk into town via the beach or the back roads. Overall it is a really nice hotel, I'd just be prepared to be disappointed by the rooms
It's not bad if you get a decent price and know what you're getting. There are some brilliant things about the place and some that are much weaker. The setting itself is stunning, perfect location. Can't get much better than these views. The pools are great too, and the whole place is quite idyllic. Visually, it's brilliant. It's also more like a little village than a hotel complex. Love the private beach, very convenient and you can see over to Turkey. It is shingle and you WILL want beach shoes! Bit of a piss take that they charge for sunbeds, but you can always just take your own towel or blanket to lie on. Food is only ok, breakfast is good but the other meals not amazing. I think it's cooked for a German palate maybe, as they were the biggest group at the resort. On our last night, the staff were having a party and the buffet was more Greek, presumably as that's what they like to eat themselves. It was much better! They do always have chips and ice cream for the fussy eaters at least. Drinks selection on the all inclusive is VERY limited. This may or may not bother you. I thought the lack of real coke was a bit crap, I'd expect better than own brand cola. Didn't mind otherwise. The little tavern next to the pool is a brilliant idea. The resort closes on 31st October and I really wouldn't recommend staying in the final few days of that, as we did. They didn't have any entertainment for the last 2 nights, the place was incredibly quiet and generally it had a half arsed end of season feel. The staff were also having an end of season party on our final night, which was in slightly poor taste bearing in mind they weren't bothering to provide any entertainment for the guests that night. There's not a lot of kids activities. The kids disco every night was great and they all loved it, but why did it only ever last 20 minutes? The entertainment (animation) team were fab but they weren't doing enough. There was nothing really on for kids during the day either, other than one yoga session. The cats got a bit much by the end. They have about 8 living in the resort and being looked after, which I think is a sensible idea as it's the sort of place where you'd need to keep vermin under control. Lots of guests loved them too, they were pretty cute. But in our last few days, there were so few people in the dining room that they kept coming in and none of the staff shooed them out. They have a teeny little lido which is great for toddlers. The rooms are a significant weakness. I'd read the reviews about them being old fashioned, but hadn't really appreciated this goes beyond being a bit shabby. A lot of them have crap air con. In many of the suites, it's two rooms but there's only air con in one, usually a very old one. They REALLY need to update this. There are also several blocks with no lift. The place is very clean. Kids playpark isn't bad, better than some resorts I've seen. Stuff for older ones as well. Worth taking your own beach towels. The games room is a bit bare and they don't really have anything to do indoors if it rains. Didn't while we were there, but worth considering if you're planning to go in October as we did.
With great weather we decided to go for a last minute getaway and with a great deal, booked Atlantis and the inclusive package. Hotel was very friendly, clean and properly serviced. The buffets were varied, good, and they frequently changed out the “leftover” hot food for fresh. My only “wish” would have been a bit more of a kids club, but it’s late October, middle of the week, and only about a dozen kids so it’s quite understandable. The kids request a water slide or two, but the 2 pools are very good.
