Rome Florence Venice Milan or Lake Garda

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Glori while in Rome for a few days. We particularly enjoyed the neighbourhood setting and not being in the heart of the hectic touristy part of the city. It was a short cab drive to get to the Colliseum and we were happy at the end of the busy day to get back to the hotel. There were some lovely restaurants on the street, a short walk from the hotel. The room was small but very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast selection was very good and food was hot and fresh. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace having a glass of wine to unwind. Flavia at the front desk was EXCELLENT. She was helpful, friendly and accomodating.
