We stayed at the Lindos Breeze during the October half term, Fri 20th Oct to Fri 27th Oct. 2 adults & 2 children. Very enjoyable stay at the Lindos Breeze but I feel like this should be a review for the Lindos Imperial because that's where you spend the majority of your time. The main all inclusive beer at the hotel is Zythos, sadly if you want a Mythos then you have to pay. There is no self serve taps at this hotel. Mythos seems to be expensive in Greece now a days. Maybe this is why most places have other beer on tap. The pool at the Lindos Breeze is nice and quiet, no issues with getting a sun bed. The lady who runs the Breeze bar is very welcoming. This pool bar is just missing some decent snacks during the day or ice cream / lollies for the kids. The sandwiches offered are not great in my opinion. The activity pool is very good, we all enjoyed the slides and the general atmosphere around the pool. Main pool at the Imperial is also very good. The noodle bar is excellent and a must try. Any of the toilets near the swimming pools (mainly the activity pool) are disgusting. The later in the day it gets, your sliding around in other people's urine. This is why the hotel isnt 5* for me. I stayed at a 4* last year in Gran Canaria and the toilets were cleaned several times through the day. The flusher part of the toulet is broken on all of the toilets at the activity pool. Food in the main buffet restaurant is very good quality. Lunch and evening meals in here are very good. However, I didn't enjoy the breakfast (personal opinion). They could do with putting some hash browns on the menu, this sounds ridiculous but on some days they offered chips, mozzarella sticks and jalepeano poppers. No one wants that at breakfast. On the whole, no criticism of the food here. A la Carte - We got two bookings during our week at the hotel. We booked it at the guest relations desk in the imperial hotel. Italian Restaurant - There was nothing italian about the food. I didn't really enjoy this meal. Mexican Restaurant - Very good, everyone enjoyed this meal. Lindos - 20 minutes away on the bus. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and it's cheap. The only bad thing about the bus is getting back from Lindos. There's alot of people all waiting and fighting for the same space. Staff just sell tickets regardless of space or who turns up first. Praise for the Hotel - Despite check out on our last day at 11am, the all inclusive continued until we left. Very greatful for this. The hotel also allowed us access to a room inside the imperial for 30mins so we could all shower. Again, very nice touch but you need to book in advance. **The imperial rooms are amazing compared to the Breeze** Positives + All hotels on the complex are nice + All staff seem friendly + Food good quality (I'm fussy aswell) + Waterpark & pool - Excellent + Main Bar at the imperial is very nice in the evening with some good entertainment Negatives - Toilets are disgusting near the Pools - No mid day snacks other than full meals like chips etc - No branded ice lollies - Ice cream only served at the Activity Pool or the Beach Cafe - Lindos Breeze rooms small - No decent food / snacks at the Breeze Also worth a mention for any October visitors, the weather was excellent. Would I return? Yes I would, we had a great time!
Lindos breeze is an awkward one to review, it is (or isn't?) Part of lindos imperial. The confusion is because without imperial it simply wouldn't function because there is no food court on site at breeze, all amenities etc are at imperial, however when speaking to staff at breeze they say that it's independent of imperial. Anyway, the whole complex (including imperial) is beautiful. It is absolutely massive and like a village in itself, there are at least 6 pools, maybe more, we spent most of our time in the activity pool because we have kids, there was lots for them to do, the kids enjoyed the pool and slides, my teenage boys spent a lot of time in the football pitch, they also enjoyed water polo. My youngest went to kids club which he enjoyed. The food was excellent, the standard of the main restaurant was high although I have to agree with a previous review which states it could have been hotter. We visited 4 restaurants the Asian, steak House, Italian and Greek, I know people have different tastes but I wouldn't even bother trying the Asian or Greek, the steak and Italian however were divine! My son had a birthday whilst there and the staff provided him with a cake which was a very kind and generous touch. The staff were all wonderful and happy to help minus a few, both of which worked on the top of the slides at the activity pool, a blond haired lady and dark haired male, both miserable as sin and physically shouting at the kids, one time she told me son he could go, he didn't hear and she yelled "HELLO, GO!!" She was extremely rude, he was the same. The staff at the activity bar were wonderful. Jamie at the main food restaurant was an absolute gem, his job was to greet people which he did fabulously. He was kind and talkative, he was also the one who told us we could get a birthday cake for our son. The lady who ran the breeze bar was also brilliant, she liked to make random drinks for the kids to try which they loved, she would also remember your order and randomly bring you a drink at the pool side, nice touch. We will definitely return to breeze, if I had to pick fault there are a few things I think could be improved but wouldn't deter me from going back. Breeze stated the pool bar is open until 11.30, it closes at 6, not sure if it was because its late in the season but it was awkward because if we wanted a drink after 6 we had to go over to imperial. The lift in imperial was outright dangerous, almost decapitated us a few times. The activity pool could do with a revamp, some pool tiles missing etc but we had a chat with the manager near the end of our holiday and he told us they are doing a massive revamp at the end of the season. The toilets in the activity area were filthy, I dont think this was the staffs fault, the people using them didn't seem to care to clean up after themselves, I did regularly see cleaners in there. The rest of the hotel and the rooms were very clean and tidy. My partner has MS and found there weren't many toilets, we had to walk a fair distance at times to find the nearest toilet. The ladies toilet near the main pool didn't have a single door that locked, most of them didn't even close. Our toilet in our room also didn't lock which I find a bit impersonal. Over all we had a great time, we didn't want to leave!!
Really loved the hotel, although a 5 star it isn’t! In need of upgrade throughout the complex. The hotel staff were amazing, especially Camelia who runs the pool bar she was exceptional! Food was good, overall a good holiday was had, but it needs to review its star rating!
This hotel is not 5 star maybe more like a 3. The highlights were the cleaners and some of the bar/restaurant staff. However there were a lot of bad points that the hotel could work on to make it better. Sorry Lindos breeze but I wouldn’t come back. First off the express shuttle was not express it took us 3 hours to get to our hotel after finding our bus when it was advertised it would take just over an hour to get to our hotel which meant we missed dinner and this wasn’t ideal seen as though we had been travelling all day without a hot meal. Check in was okay as it was quite quick and the receptionist took our bags to the room which was helpful but it wasn’t explained that there was an app we could download to then be able to book the al a carte restaurants and had other information on there like restaurant menus. The entertainment on a night was okay in the main bar it could be quite fun but I would recommend taking earphones and a pack of cards for the day as it could be pretty boring. We hired a car to travel round the island and it was well worth it but do your homework on prices and deals, Rhodes was pretty busy if you’re looking for hustle and bustle and lindos was quite a nice place to visit. We were quite disappointed with our room as it was a standard twin room which when we booked it stated it was a superior triple room, whatever that was. There were various wristbands as well which wasn’t explained when we checked in as we had paid for everything to be premium or what we thought would be premium. There were also ants in our room especially near the bathroom, which also didn’t lock so could be embarrassing at times when you needed to use the bathroom. The walls in the room were that thin that we could hear the neighbours baby crying all holiday, not the best when you’re trying to relax. The fridge in the room was pretty useless it didn’t keep anything cold, was a bit of waste of electricity. We had to go to reception god knows how many times to get a new key as it just stopped working all the time. The red wine, fruit basket and water in the room were a nice touch. The cleaners by far were the best staff they were so friendly and helpful and we had clean towels everyday, the room always looked lovely. I was quite ill for two days of the holiday which spoilt it really and I can only imagine it was from the luke warm food or the drinks that were poured. That said it put me off eating from the buffet as everything was quite cold and had clearly been sat there a while. The variety on the buffet was good but some things didn’t have flavour. The breakfast was definitely the best part. The snacks at the pool and beach bar were okay although the only thing I ended up eating were chips as the gyros and souvlaki was either too fatty or slimey and tzatziki wasn’t offered. The burgers were also disappointing as they were cold and tasteless. The noodles were okay but did feel quite ill after eating them. The three ala carte restaurants we tried were the fish, the Asian and Greek. The fish was one was very nice and accommodating but just something to note if you buy wine you will need cash and can’t pay by card. The Asian was quite nice the starters were the best. The Greek was the most disappointing the courses were sparse and very bland I didn’t finish two courses as they were inedible, this restaurant was the one I was looking forward to most as we were in Greece after all and had expectations we could have meze or something not pasta. The ice creams at the beach bar were quite nice. The pool areas were okay, fairly clean but very very cold you have to brace yourself to get in. The best pool bar was at the breeze hotel, the bar maid Cameila was so friendly and accommodating she couldn’t have done a better job. The drinks however were not nice at all the spirits and syrups made them undrinkable. The beer was okay but quite gassy and the house wine wasn’t very nice. The beach was okay but we didn’t really spend any time there as it’s not the sandy beach like you expect, but lindos does have a pretty nice beach which you can get the bus to. Definitely speak to the staff about where is best to go if you plan on venturing outside the hotel they have some good advice.
Just Beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I must give at shout out to Camillia, the barmaid at the Lindos Breeze pool. What a diamond! So genuinely friendly and helpful. Always smiling and nothing was a problem. Brought drinks around even if you hadn't asked. She made this a very relaxed stay. Also the lovely receptionist and the american barmaid at the main bar at the sister Hotel. Big smiles and helpfulness make a big difference. Very relaxing stay, beautifully clean and pretty. The beach is gorgeous too. Good selection of food and drinks on offer. The entertainment could be better. But we had a lovely time thank you to everyone at the hotel. We will be back x
