Good beach Hotel
Our room 110 was in a 1st floor. Room door was so thin and loose that we heard all the noises in a morning before 6am and 7am / 22 pm and 23pm in the room like they were behind door. We said problem to the info but they didn't do nothing. Otherwise hotel was nice and neat. Customer servise advice well about how to move in Garda. We rekommend that Oliveto change all the door better that are near lobby Otherwise they have to give earblugs and eye patch when people arrive in a hotel.
Didn't reach the point where they claim to be. A good hotel with nice rooms and good restaurant. Not that luxury retreat that they try profile them selfs as in place like this. The staff are service minded and the hotel is clean, but lacks that last bits and pieces to reach the top. The hotel should start with reservations for the parking spaces as well, as we were forced to park 500 meters from the hotel the first night.
Stayed for 3 nights. Room was freshly decorated and was 9/10 clean. Some dust and dirt on floors, otherwise bathroom and linen all very clean. Pool area also kept very clean. Breakfast was good, wide selection available. Short walk into the town. Would recommend
We stayed here for 10 days as a family of 4 recently. We were happy with the hotel itself - I paid the extra upgrade and our room was large and very clean, housekeeping superb beds comfy although the kids did complain that their bunk bed (that folded out from the sofa - I had dreams it would collapse on them but it didn’t!) wasn’t that comfortable. The pools inside (although you had to pay extra to us it, shame) and out were lovely and everywhere was immaculate. The outside pool has a snack bar for lunch although no pool service so you can’t be ultra lazy. The downsides for me were the restaurant which had a non changing limited menu and not kid friendly. Also the location. Beautifully quiet at night as it’s outside of the main strip but if you want to go out for dinner you have to walk a fairly long way. Desenzano itself is like a long high street so to really get to see it it’s a long hike. Same to the port to get the ferry / boat trips and that’s not so nice in the heat. All in all we had a great holiday as Lake Garda is amazing but I wouldn’t stay in Desenzano again as I found the other lake towns more attractive.
Hotel was reasonably priced, staff were super friendly, accommodating and helpful. The pool was a great size and generally kept clean. There was a large selection at breakfast. We spent slightly more and had a superior (newly refurbished room) which was nice, fresh and with a comfortable bed. Our room was at the back of the hotel (not on the main road) overlooking the pool. A few small snags in the room which need addressing - light switch which sounds like there's a loose connection and the shower hose leaked. The bar and restaurant also don't seem the most inviting/attractive and the decor in the seems outdated, which is a shame. It is slightly out of town and a bit of a rltrek with a toddler. Would recommend staying here.
