Visited Panorama in June as a group of four mid-twenty-year-olds looking for a peaceful holiday with lots of swimming and reading. The hotel is by no means 5 star, but don't let that put you off! We had literally no problems while staying here. Food was fab at the buffet, always loads of stuff to choose from and all tasted fresh. It was mainly Greek food and overheard people complaining about the lack of chips lol but we wanted more authentic food anyways. The on-site themed restaurants were not great NGL would swerve those. Loads of cheap lovely tavernas on the walk into Kos town. The entertainment was awkward to say the least but we weren't that bothered as we could pull up a table and have a few drinks and chat. The drinks aren't great but we weren't big drinkers so didn't affect us much. I'd say stick to mixed drinks or prosecco probably - the wine is vile. The staff just left us to it which I liked, we had no issues so barely spoke to them tbh. Girls on the bar are painfully slow and kind of rude but it ended up being quite funny to us lol. The walk into the town took about 40 mins and was so lovely to do in the sun. The bus is a bit of a nightmare as it never shows up but the walk is fine and they have scooters to rent outside as well which we made use of. if you are looking for a cheap holiday with loads to do nearby, a gorgeous beach just down the hill, and perfect weather, this is perfect.
This is an amazing hotel filled with great staff and lots of space! I really can't say anything bad about this hotel. The food was fantastic and varied. The staff was so sweet and took good care of us. I can 100% recommend. Best experience ever!
The place is amazing. The hotel has all that you need. The food is amazing, Betty works as a waitress and she is brilliant, always came to help us with baby cutlery, high chair, collecting out plates and stuffs. She is amazing, for sure she made out stay much better. Would not be the same without her
Hotel itself was clean and tidy everywhere. Room cleaning and towels replacement very good and 5 star Check in was quick and easy. Location is good with impressive views across the water to Turkey coast 4km away There are issues which should be getting addressed but the management team seem unwilling to do much. Charging phones etc in the room requires moving furniture to reach power sockets. Pool easy to find sunbeds but they are very tired and well overdue for replacement. The Hotel Occupancy Rate was very low so this reflects the ease of finding a sunbed Food - reviews this summer frequently mentioned the lack of quality or variety. We agree with many but always found something to eat. Environmentally I'm not convinced the hotel is doing all it could. Wooden drinks stirrers and drinking straws all came individually wrapped in paper. Disposable plastic cups were used at the pool bar. Water was given out in small one time use bottles. The lack of local bars or convenience stores meant you needed to go into Kos if you needed anything substantial The elevators were all working throughout our stay although the programming needs work as they didn't always stop or go to the floor that you might expect. Service from all the staff we met was excellent. Smiles and Good Day greetings came naturally. Entertainment was OK given the low number of visitors. 2023 reviews give lots of opinions about how the bars could be better staffed or organised. Corporate Management has decided Trip Advisors reviews are not worthy of a reply so these ideas and other improvements will not happen soon. We stayed Oct 2023, unless early 2024 reviews suggest otherwise avoid high season, the same issues are likely to reoccur. Jet2 seemed to be the main UK based operator going there and their 4 star rating was about right for 2023. We would go back but only outside peak season
I really enjoyed this hotel and it’s the biggest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The only downside to this hotel is that it’s so big and has very little in terms of entertainment with a very small area for the entertainment. Ultra all inclusive was brilliant as I was able to drink southern comfort all week long. Rooftop bar is good but should be included in the ultra all inclusive
