The room was very uncomfortable

The elevator is making too loud noise in the room while running, making it impossible for my family to rest. I want to changed rooms that night, the hotel rooms were fully booked and I couldn't change rooms. Fortunately, the hotel could change rooms the next day. However, tonight, the elevator could only close from 00:00 to 06:00, with the elevator next to the room running. My family and I were not getting enough rest, so I was very dissatisfied with the design of Room 27 and hoped the hotel could improve the room design before guests could stay.

don't believe the photos. Shinjuku Washington Hotel the rooms are so small that you have to go into the hall to change your mind. The shower room is so small that the hand bason intrudes over the shower/bathtub. the roof in the bathroom is so low that my son could not stand up or shower properly. If you are elderly or have any disability they do not cater for you in any way despite their advertisement. the rooms have mould on the windows and rubbish was still in the rooms from poor cleaning if any at all. Carpets are dirty and stained badly. when you mention this to the staff, they say well this hotel was built in the 60s and we will not be changing anything, and it showed that nothing had been done to this hotel. We moved to another hotel as the manager of the Washington lied to our trip organiser on multiple occasions. In the end after 2 hours of me waiting at the desk I got a certificate in English saying that they would refund my trip organiser for the remaining nights.

We stayed for 3 nights and found it comfortable and convenient. The room was unusual in shape as we were at the end of the hallway, and quite small, but fine for the 2 of us. Loved the mini fridge, electric tea kettle and toiletries.

A lovely hotel, very high tech and helpful and efficient staff. First class buffet, huge choice of quality food of all types, well filled and kept very clean. Good central Tokyo location about an 8 minute walk from the hotel. We had a standard double room which is really small, only one draw where coffee, kettle etc are kept. No cupboard just a rail with four hangers on the wall. Bathroom small but adequate, however if you are over 6ft 2 you will not be able to stand up straight, also the step into the bathroom is high. Room kept very clean. You can't control the temperature in the bedroom it's fixed. Excellent security. Overall a hotel that I would recommend.
