Near Shinagawa Station but dusty and moldy room

For the price we paid approx USD 625 for 2 nights without breakfast in a standard twin room, the experience was disappointing. The room was noticeably dusty, the whole length of its upper beam was covered in dust. The bathroom had visible mold in several areas. For this price point, we expected a much higher level of cleanliness. The hotel is showing signs of age, the atmosphere felt somewhat lifeless during our stay. It is not where we will choose to stay again.

While the location of this hotel is convenient as it is close to Shinagawa station (Shinkansen line), the quality of the hotel is poor. Our room was dated, which was fine but compared to the bright photos on their website, I felt like the room wasn’t even close to what was portrayed. The worst part was the dirty bathroom. Black mould in the tile grout and on the ceiling. Filthy hand basin and worst of all was the toilet - when the toilet seat was down, it was clear to see it hadn’t ever been cleaned. Urine, hair etc was in the crack. Too offensive to take photos of. Very disappointing considering the price. Breakfast very average. Wouldn’t recommend.

Awesome location as just 5 minutes to Shinagawa station. Breakfast is good with continental options. It has a coffee lounge open until midnight to relax and also can use while waiting before checking in and after checkout. Also has a vending machine for snacks and drinks.Bed is kind of small and that’s expected when you are in Japan.

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the station to take the Shinkansen. What really stood out was the tasty breakfast! They had a really good spread with lots of beverage options too. We also really appreciated the cold towels they had at the reception especially since we were there for some hotter days. I enjoyed staying at this hotel a lot more than I expected! It’s a great place to stay especially if you’re looking for something close to the station!

Horrible Experience - Unsafe and Untrustworthy Hotel

We had a truly terrible experience at this hotel and would strongly advise against staying here.Firstly, we felt unsafe during our stay. The walls were so thin that we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, and we genuinely thought someone entered our room while we were sleeping. This made it impossible to relax or feel secure.Additionally, the breakfast they offer is nothing like what is advertised on Booking.com. Instead of the breakfast buffet we were promised, we were met with a meager and unappetizing selection that hardly qualified as a proper meal. For comparison we are uploading images of what they posted on Booking.com vs. what their actual breakfast looks like. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly unfriendly and disrespectful. When we addressed the fact that we felt unsafe and would therefore like to leave a night earlier, the staff laughed at us and treated us with a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy.After discussing with the hotel for hours, they agreed to refund us for the one night we would not stay, but instead of processing the refund correctly, they tried to scam us by deducting money from one of our cards without authorization. This is completely unacceptable and left us feeling extremely violated and mistrustful of their operations. Till this day, we are still facing issues concerning the refund.Overall, this hotel provided one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had, and we would highly recommend looking elsewhere for accommodation. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs!
