  The only good thing to emphasize would be the location of the hotel, in a quiet and well connected area.Regarding the room was small, we stayed 5 nights of which only changed your towels and sheets 1 time, for our taste rather bad and more being so many nights. The sink on the third night smelled bad because of the wet towels and the Laundry Service they offered you was not good, as the drying program did not dry directly, a bit chaos.About the staff they were friendly and polite at all times.   I can't recommend this hotel at all. I hardly saw any staff the whole time. When I did see staff, the lady couldn't speak a word of English.   Very comfortable and ideally located

  We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in a very quiet area of Kyoto.The staff are welcoming and quite helpful.He speaks poor or little English but with a little patience we can make ourselves understood and fortunately there is Google Translate to help.Ideally located because just 10 minutes walk from the train station and 8 minutes from the metro station, the hotel has comfortable and very clean rooms.The bedding is quality.The bathroom is large enough.Washing machines are available on the ground floor, they are very easy to use.A stone's throw from the hotel is a small park and above all a large gallery (as there are many in Japan) where you can eat as well as do some shopping, the shopkeepers are very nice.Unbeatable value for money, I highly recommend this hotel. ホテルエムズ 予約担当, 収益管理 at M's Hotel Sanjo Omiya, responded to this review Thank you very much for staying at our hotel.We are delighted to hear that we were able to provide you with a pleasant stay and to hear your kind words about our staff.   Basically Staffless property

  Upon arrival no one is available to get you. The main door is locked with passcode. A QR code is available to search for door code. After I entered information error on page with no information in English and no way to enter. Luckily someone was leaving and door opened. Check in is supposed to be “self check in” using a friendly device. One friendly employee helped us to check in using this device and pay the property taxes but this employee did not speak English. We basically communicated in sign language. The lobby had a microwave and very few “amenities” for self serve. (Razor, tooth brush and hair comb). There are locks available for luggage “storage” but it is visible in the main lobby. No other employees seen in property. I saw 2 elevators and one coin washer. No other amenities or facilities available. No vending machines or water on site. Located in narrow quiet covered street ( all the streets nearby are equally as narrow) just a few steps away from a long strip with many stores, shops and restaurants.
