great comfort and location

easy access by bus from kyoto station, station o er the road to get to bamboo forest. short walk to Gion district. hotel with nature, great comfort in room. wonderful staff. i will stay here again and recommend to everyone. Good Except for the Elevators

Nice hotel, nice breakfast buffet, but I have a complaint about the elevators. First of all, the stairways are for emergency use only, so you need to use the elevator at this 9 story hotel. But, there’s only 2 elevators, and at times the wait for the elevator was several minutes. The guest rooms occupy floors 5 to 9. And every single time going up or down, the elevator is programmed to stop at the 4th floor, where reception is located. Very annoying! No Understanding in Difficult Circumstances

We had to cancel 5 days before arrival due to a medical emergency and despite explaining the situation, the hotel showed zero empathy or basic human understanding. They refused any flexibility or refund and only cared about charging the full amount. Extremely disappointing and cold customer service.
