The hotel stands on a plot of private land spanning over 30 hectares, surrounded by gardens and forest. Guests can enjoy the magnificent landscape of Somerset with views taking in over 30 km, and take the opportunity to investigate the historic Roman city of Bath, only a few minutes away by car. The tourist centre and numerous shopping opportunities, as well as a bus stop and the train station are 5-10 minutes away. The hotel is ideally situated, not only for visits to the city centre's own attractions but also for trouble-free access to sights a little further away, such as Longleat House and Safari Park, Castle Combe and Lacock Abbey. The drive to Bristol takes around half an hour. The hotel is situated approximately 90 km from Bournemouth Airport, 35 km from Bristol Airport, 120 km from Cardiff Airport, 125 km from Exeter International Airport, 160 km from London Heathrow Airport and 100 km from Southampton Airport.

Central heating ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features of some rooms.
